It is highly produced, hand-crafted radio built by a
team of master engineers, award-winning writers, and
anal musicologists dedicated to creating an audio experience
that is predictably unpredictable and more fun, more
rewarding than anything you’ve ever heard in your
life.

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM SHADOE STEVENS
“Rock the World” is a showcase of the best rock
in the world from all over the world slammed together in exciting
and unusual ways, brought together by a team of professionals – 35
people doing the work of several hundred – working in
sweatshop conditions –
no air, no fans, just the sauna-like, baked air in the windowless
studios of a former airplane hanger in Prague Czechoslovakia.
We live on dry French bread and pieces of meat left on the
doorstep by peasants with less than us, but who believe in
our mission so deeply, they sometimes let their children go
hungry to help us keep going…and for that, we are grateful.
The Rock the World volunteers are dedicated to bringing peace
to the world by playing loud music, music that’s louder
than any guns and that lifts the spirits to untold heights
of psychic intoxication more head spinning than any drug or
drink.
THE RTW
The RTW…is a non-profit organization
built by fanatics who believe the teachings of the
ancient HMAITEX (the M is silent, the X is pronounced
like a K –
“Hy-Tek”) people of Tierra del Fuego…who,
thousands of years ago, correctly predicted and warned against…Adam
Sandler and Carrot Top …who said,
“in the end-times…when the earthquakes rumble and
great winds bring great flooding, when a Burning BUSH speaks
and people dare not disobey…when great rock is thrown
into the air at one time, and it is loud, and it is joyful…coming
from all corners of the Earth…the spirit will be one…and
everything will change…”
According to Shadoe, “Now, I didn’t say that, and
I think all this may be a stretch…but the RTW is not
made of skeptics like me…it’s made of believers.
And for that, I am grateful. Their Faith…carries me.”
HOLISTIC APPROACH
Rock the World is an approach to rock radio that engages a
theater of the mind experience – raising awareness
– all the while enhancing the visceral impact of the
heart of rock – and literally providing a healing experience
that is transformational.
Here’s how it works: a team of Grammy Award Winning
genetic engineers creates an audio landscape of surreal moments
that are engaging and amusing, and literally trigger the release
of endorphins while relaxing the grip of deep rooted, repressed
anxiety and regret. These subconscious spaces then open up,
making room for pleasant thoughts while allowing for the activation
of the laughter glands and the simultaneous opening up of the
Clown Chakra. After that, you life is happy, chipper and carefree.
NOTE: listeners may not hear anything in the show that is
amusing, but later may find themselves laughing for no reason
and wondering why. These “LaughBacks”
are an interesting and - to some people - an alarming side
effect of listening to the show. If you have concerns about
this or the potential for explosive gas, you should not listen.
THE FORMAT
Rock the World is divided into 4 blocks, making it possible
to insert advertising and to offer sponsorship to its advertisers,
with mentions at the beginning and end of each programme block.
It will also receive 5 micro-slots to promote the weekly broadcast,
highlighting the most outstanding hits in the next programme
and reinforcing the mentions of its sponsors on a daily basis.
As well as the original edition presented by Shadoe, the international
version of the programme is available to be co-produced in
any language, with it being possible to adapt it to the sound
of the station with its own presenter, working alongside Shadoe.
